Here's how we celebrated.....


First, we had green eggs and pancakes (#1 we didn't have ham and #2 we always have pancakes when it snows).

Then lots of reading!


Caed enjoyed some games online at Suessville.com and....
.......some craft time making Cat In the Hat hats!
We finished the day off with birthday cake (aka leftover cake from the weekend decorated with sprinkles)!
It was a great day :-)

Is the question that I am sure the kids will ask when they see pics of themselves in these but isn't it my job to cause those types of questions??? This is my first attempt at applique. I little bit more "rough around the edges" than I planned but hopefully we can pass it off as intentional!
